Day trip to Kratovo and Kuklica

Summer weekends, this year, were dedicated to a few day trips we could take from Skopje. After the one to Kokino, we decided to go to a place none of us have visited before- the city of Kratovo and the nearby village of Kuklica.

Day trip to Kokino

Being cooped up indoors has been (almost) no fun at all, but it's the least we can do for a while, I guess. So this summer I decided to visit a few outdoor places in my country which would not have made my "to visit" list, if there was no pandemic.

Short winter break

Let me begin by saying- I am not a winter person. Snow is a nah, winter sports are a definite no. However, I do like to keep active during winter as well, so whenever I get the chance I try to go to a thermal spa nearby. This winter that break came early, and we... Continue Reading →

Day trip to Mavrovo

Last year we went on a day trip to Mavrovo to enjoy the fresh air, amazing autumn scenery and lovely food at least for a day. The snow wasn't on the ground, so the autumn leaves were in full bloom, and it was spectacular to witness. I'm not a specially gifted landscape photographer, but here it's really difficult to miss a shot.

City escape- Bratislava pt.2

I wanted to dedicate the second part of the Bratislava photo blog to the modernist and socialist modernist architecture and sights of the city. Which were plenty! City escape- Bratislava pt.1

It's been well over a month since I came back from holiday, but as luck (and retrograde Mercury) would like it, procrastination was my main motto. However, the time came to write about my last trip, and the first destination was the city of Bratislava, Slovakia. This was my first time in Slovakia completely, so... Continue Reading →

The Skopje Aqueduct

As the spring holidays rolled in a group of friends and I had a few days off work, and we wanted to make the best of them. But, the weather wasn't very nice, and a few of us had some health issues so instead of going some place exotic (out of city bounds), we decided... Continue Reading →

Whose text are you waiting for?

Around December, when I finally got the time to edit my photographs from Rome, I realized that I had taken a lot of street portraits of people looking at their phones. Sure, they may have been tourists looking for directions, but my first thought was that nowadays we always look at our phones hoping to... Continue Reading →

Burnout- reality or myth?

Last week, I took a few days off and went on an extended spa weekend. I packed my photography gear and explored where I can go to shoot (even though I go to the same place often, there are still things to see), but during the trip I did not take out my camera once.... Continue Reading →

Botanical Garden Berlin

My favourite trips are city escapes. But sometimes it may become too much to look at buildings and monuments the whole time while on a trip, so I've found that botanical gardens or zoos are a great way to make a city escape holiday more diverse. Botanical gardens are also a great way to spend... Continue Reading →
